The Patreon offering

His public service description focuses on the Champions League, with Europa League, Conference League and occasional domestic bets. In his 7 October 2026 announcement, he advertised football write-ups at £25 per month plus VAT from the following week, while keeping horse-racing posts free on X. This is the advertised price, not a verified checkout total.

Service description ↗
His 7 October 2026 announcement says he stopped paid European-football tipping several years earlier and returned to publishing write-ups in 2026. The precise departure date from Betting Emporium has not been established. Historical Emporium results and testimonials are kept separate from the current Patreon offering.

Reported points staked

Reported profit

Reported ROI

The results page, marked updated 1 July 2026, has a separate “All football by Brodders” row. These figures are taken from that row, not the site-wide football or all-sports total. Points staked are not a count of bets.

This is an operator-maintained historical summary. The page-wide update date does not establish the final bet date within Brodders’ row. We have not reconciled every selection, stake, settlement or subscriber price.

Drawdowns are disclosed too

The historical FAQ describes a downswing exceeding 700 points in March–June 2017 and another exceeding 500 points in May–November 2015. Those figures use the old service’s staking scale; they should not be treated as 700 or 500 flat-stake losses.

Patreon results need a separate record

No complete, independently reconciled Patreon bet history was established in this assessment. The Emporium total cannot establish the returns of the current service, particularly after subscription fees and missed prices.

Followability

Delivery and price availability

Late-afternoon delivery and multiple accounts

In the Patreon description, Ian says write-ups normally will not appear before 3pm, balancing information and time to bet. He aims to quote prices available at two firms and favours liquid markets, while acknowledging that followers can move odds.

He discusses access to several bookmakers and exchanges, with variable stakes and potentially multiple bets on one match. He also says less-liquid league bets may be removed if subscribers cannot obtain prices.

These are the operator’s stated practices, not results of a SharpCheck following trial. Delivery timezone, actual notification delays, accepted stakes and price duration have not been measured.

What to measure

Compare original release times and advised odds with subscriber receipts, available prices and accepted bets. Record missed selections and account restrictions, and separate the old service’s staking scale from Patreon stakes.

Historical feedback and research coverage

Testimonials exist; current independent feedback is thin

The comments below are republished on the operator’s own testimonials page. They are selected marketing material, not a representative customer survey. Original posting dates and subscription access have not been verified. No stars or community score are inferred.

Owen Richards · @TheGreenG0blin

The page reproduces a message addressed to @brodders_be thanking him for another successful set of results. It contains no detailed bet log or attributable review of the current Patreon service.

Gerry Moriarty · @tankard999

A reproduced comment credits Brodders with a profitable day and mentions a correct-score winner. This is an account of a short winning period, not evidence of a typical subscriber return.

Smart Betting Club · June 2018 interview

Smart Betting Club promoted an interview with Ian and described his football-betting experience favourably. The full interview is offered through paid membership and was not reviewed here. 13 October 2026: a notification question

Replying to Ian’s launch update, AJF (@AndrewF1973) said they did not think an email notification had arrived, but had seen the post on X, so it had not caused them a problem. This is one reader’s report, not evidence of a general delivery failure or a missed bet.

14 October 2026: how to report price access

A reader asked how to respond to a request for feedback about getting prices, noting that the email used a no-reply address. Ian replied that subscribers could message him through Patreon. The exchange establishes a feedback route; it does not measure how many followers obtained the advised odds.
